How We Make Money
We believe in radical transparency. Here's exactly how 7AM Dispatch makes money and why that matters to you.
The Short Version
We earn affiliate commissions when businesses connect with providers through our directory (/7pm). That's it. No ads, no sponsored content, no hidden fees.
The Details
đź’° Revenue Source: Affiliate Commissions
When you click through to a provider from our directory and sign up for their service, we may earn a commission (typically 10-30% of the first year's contract value, or a flat referral fee).
Important: This doesn't cost you anything extra. The provider pays us for the referral, not you.
âś… What We Do NOT Do
- We don't sell your data
- We don't run display ads or ad networks
- We don't accept payment for editorial content or rankings
- We don't list providers who haven't been vetted
- We don't hide our affiliate relationships
Note: Job postings and promoted RFPs in the marketplace are technically ads—businesses pay to get visibility for their opportunities. We're transparent about what's promoted vs. organic.
Why This Model Works
Our incentives are aligned with yours. We only make money if:
- You find value in our content → You trust our recommendations
- You connect with a provider → The provider delivers results
- You're happy with the outcome → You come back and refer others
If we recommend bad providers, you don't sign up. If you don't sign up, we don't earn. Simple.
Editorial Independence
Our content is 100% independent. Providers don't pay to be featured in articles, interviews, or case studies. They can't pay to improve their ranking in our directory. They can't pay to remove negative feedback.
If a provider isn't delivering, we'll remove them from the directory—even if they're a top earner. If there's a better (or cheaper) solution, we'll tell you about it—even if we don't earn a commission.
How Providers Get Listed
Providers apply through our application form. We vet them based on:
- Proven track record of successful implementations
- Canadian presence or willingness to work with Canadian businesses
- Transparent pricing and contracts
- Quality of customer support
- References from existing clients
If they pass our vetting, we negotiate affiliate terms. If they don't pass, they don't get listed—regardless of how much they'd pay us.
Questions?
If you have questions about our business model, how we vet providers, or anything else—ask us. We'll answer honestly.
The Bottom Line
We make money when you find the right solution and it works. That's the deal. No hidden agendas, no fine print, no bullshit.
