Terms of Service.

These terms apply when you use 7am.ca, book a call with us or buy one of our packages. They’re written to be read. If anything is unclear, email lee@7am.ca before you buy.

01Who we are

“7am”, “we” and “us” mean 7am, a business based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. “You” means the person or business using the site or buying from us.

02Booking a call

Intro calls are free and carry no obligation. Please give us accurate contact details so we can reach you. If you can’t make it, use the cancel link in your confirmation email so the time can go to someone else. We may reschedule or cancel a call if something comes up, and we’ll let you know as early as we can.

03Packages and what’s included

Each package page describes what’s included. Before work starts, we’ll confirm the details with you on a short call: the angle, timing, who’s involved and anything we need from you. Where a package involves publishing, placement depends on fit, audience and availability with third-party publications, so we can’t guarantee a specific outlet, ranking or result.

Anything outside the package, such as extra revisions, more interviews, more videos or new deliverables, is quoted separately before we do it.

04Prices and payment

• Prices are in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes (such as HST) are calculated at checkout based on your billing address.
• Payment is taken securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
• Coupon codes are subject to the conditions given with them, can’t be exchanged for cash and may be withdrawn at any time.
• We may change our prices, but changes never affect an order you’ve already paid for.

05Monthly plans

Monthly plans (such as ongoing newsletter support or monthly video support) renew automatically each month on the same date until you cancel. You can cancel at any time by emailing lee@7am.ca. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we don’t refund partial months.

Payment plans are different. Some packages can be paid in equal monthly instalments instead of all at once. The plan ends automatically after the final payment. Choosing a payment plan means you agree to pay all of the instalments for the package. If a payment fails, we may pause work until it’s sorted out.

06Cancellations and refunds

• Before your kickoff call: cancel for a full refund.
• After work has started: you pay for the work completed so far, and any unused balance is refunded.
• Once delivered or published: our No-mess guarantee applies. If you feel we’ve fallen short of the results we said were likely, and we can’t make it right, we’ll refund you.

07Your part

Good work depends on timely input. We’ll need things like interview time, approvals, photos and brand assets, access to customers, and feedback. If we can’t get what we need, timelines will move. You’re responsible for making sure that anything you give us (logos, photos, claims about your business, customer permissions) is accurate and yours to share.

08Ownership and use

Once you’ve paid in full, you own the final deliverables we make for you (articles, edited videos and copy) and can use them however you like. We keep ownership of our working files, methods and anything we made before or outside your project. Unless you ask us not to, we may show finished, published work in our portfolio.

Content placed with third-party publications is also subject to those publications’ own terms, and they may edit, schedule or remove it at their discretion.

09Confidentiality

We keep what you share with us in confidence and only use it to deliver your work. We’ll only publish what you’ve approved.

10Liability

We do our work carefully and professionally, but we can’t promise particular business results such as leads, sales, rankings or press coverage. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to a package is limited to the amount you paid for that package, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses.

11Using this site

Please don’t misuse the site, for example by trying to get around access codes, interfering with booking or checkout, or using automated tools to scrape it. Access codes for private pages are for the person they were given to.

12Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time, and the date at the top shows when. The version in place when you paid applies to that order. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
