The Fine Print
We've tried to write these like humans. Please read them anyway.

7AM is a free daily newsletter covering Canadian news, culture, business, and the general state of this country we all share. It's delivered every morning at 7AM Eastern by 7AM Media. By subscribing, reading, or otherwise using this service, you agree to these terms.
7AM is free to read. It will remain free. We are not going to do a "premium tier" bait-and-switch. If that ever changes, we'll tell you well in advance and you can unsubscribe without any hard feelings.
Everything we write — the headlines, the takes, the jokes about Creston not knowing what time zone it's in — belongs to 7AM Media. You're welcome to share a single edition with a friend, quote us with attribution, or screenshot a line that made you laugh. You're not welcome to republish, repackage, or use our content commercially without written permission.
If you'd like to license our content or collaborate, email us at hello@7am.ca.
7AM covers news. It is not legal advice, financial advice, medical advice, or a substitute for speaking to an actual professional about your actual situation. Do not make major life decisions based solely on something you read in a morning newsletter. We say this with love.
By subscribing, you're giving us permission to send you the 7AM newsletter and occasional updates about the publication. That's it. We don't sell your email address. We don't rent it. We don't trade it for anything. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any edition — it takes one click and works immediately.
7AM is delivered via beehiiv, our newsletter platform. Their terms and privacy policy apply to the mechanics of delivery. We've chosen partners we trust, but we're not responsible for the actions of third-party services.
We aim to send 7AM every morning. Sometimes technology is difficult, humans get sick, and servers do whatever it is servers do at 3AM. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service, and we're not liable for any inconvenience if an edition is late or missing. We're also not liable if you missed your GO train stop because you were reading. (Though we're flattered.)
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know in the newsletter. Continuing to subscribe after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario. We hope it never comes to that.
